Aleph
Starting Your Hebrew Journey Off Right

The main goal of the course is for students with little to no knowledge of Hebrew to acquire tools primarily for speaking Hebrew, but also for reading and writing. In addition, we'll work on raising students' confidence in using Hebrew in and outside of the classroom and in their day to day lives in Israel.
We will learn the grammar, vocabulary, and syntax of Hebrew through exposure to various linguistic structures and through encounters with Israeli culture. A main focus will be on enabling students to initiate and hold conversations with Israelis across a spectrum of ages, professions and beliefs, and in a variety of daily situations, in order to help them become better acquainted with Israeli society.
During the last week of the course, students will be required to take a test in order to qualify for the next level, Aleph+ and continue their Hebrew studies. They will be graded on their oral and written work and based on their in-class effort and on the test.
If you live overseas or simply feel comfortanble learning from home, you can join our online Aleph Course where the same level of Hebrew is taught just through Zoom. This course also runs over 10 weeks, and in no time you will have immersed yourself in the Hebrew language.
